IVF-ET

In simple terms IVF means fertilization outside the body. After ovarian stimulation, eggs are collected from the women’s ovaries and then fertilized by the husband’s sperms in a petri dish in a controlled laboratory environment. The resulting embryos are deposited into the women’s uterus by embryo transfer.

Who Should Opt for IVF-ET Treatment?

  1. Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes – IVF bypasses the tubes entirely.

  2. Severe male infertility – Very low sperm count or poor sperm quality.

  3. Endometriosis-related infertility – When other treatments have failed.

  4. Failed IUI or other fertility treatments – When simpler options don’t succeed.

  5. Older women or low ovarian reserve – Especially over age 35 with fertility decline.

Benefits of IVF-ET Treatment

  1. Higher success rates – Especially for complex or long-term infertility cases.

  2. Bypasses many fertility issues – Tubal, sperm, and ovulation problems.

  3. Multiple embryos can be created – Increases the chances of pregnancy.

  4. Embryo freezing is possible – For future use or multiple attempts.

  5. Genetic screening available – Helps detect inherited disorders before implantation.
